MARTIAL ARTS PROGRAMS

LIL' NINJAS

(4 - 7 Years) Classes are offered 6 days a week. Students are allowed to participate up to 4 times a week.

The Lil’ Ninja Program is specifically designed for children ages 4-7 years. The curriculum in these classes allows students to learn the basics of martial arts and self defense, while having fun with their peers at the same time. Along with physical drills of coordination and balance, we also teach principles of concentration, self-discipline and respectful behavior. Parents tell us that they notice an improvement in their child’s behavior and performance in school and at home.

Our program is based on building 8 basic life skills. Each class will focus on building one of the skills and will give examples on how to work on these skills at home and at school. The lessons are introduced as fun and exciting games and because of this interaction, students learn more while having fun.

EVO KIDS

(8 - 13 Years) Classes are offered 6 days a week. Students can participate up to 4 times a week.

Our Evo Kids Program at Evolution provides the opportunity for your child to learn mixed martial arts in a comfortable but challenging atmosphere. Our curriculum, which is a blend of various martial arts, is designed to give students the best and most complete instruction possible.

Through our classes your child will develop strength, coordination, flexibility and self-confidence. Our program not only teaches effective and powerful self defense skills, but it also emphasizes the proper attitude to use these skills appropriately. This approach focuses on respect, self-discipline and leadership. Your child will be able to use these skills in every aspect of their life.

A student’s ability to focus and concentrate will greatly improve as he or she learns how to set and achieve goals. They will also learn how to better handle peer pressure and negative influences by developing self-esteem, confidence and a positive attitude. Also, we strongly encourage students to excel in school and in their community as part of becoming a good, responsible martial artist.

ADULTS

(14+ Years) Classes are offered 6 days a week. Students can participate up to 4 times a week.

The adult program at Evolution Martial Arts provides the opportunity for you to learn mixed martial arts in a comfortable but challenging atmosphere. Our curriculum, which is a blend of various martial arts, is designed to give students the best and most complete instruction possible. Each discipline contributes a unique aspect to your training, making you a well rounded martial artist.

TAE KWON DO Includes traditional punches, kicks, and forms, Tae Kwon Do also builds character, self-discipline and focus.

MUAY THAI Incorporates the most effective and practical hand, knee, elbow and foot techniques along with an intense cardio workout.

EVOLUTION JIU-JITSU Teaches you how to escape holds and grabs using joint locks and submission techniques. These effective and essential defenses are best used in situations that end up on the ground.

JUDO TECHNIQUES Involves unbalancing your opponent using throws and sweeps while simultaneously developing your own balance and coordination.

BOXING The art of striking with the hands, improving hand-eye coordination and technical skills to provide a strong foundation for self defense.

STREET SELF DEFENSE provides more reality based techniques that are functional and efficient in todays self-defense environments.

 

*EVOLUTION* **JIU JITSU**

5+ Years

Evolution Jiu-Jitsu is a cutting edge fighting art developed from traditional Jiu-Jitsu by the Gracie Family of Brazil. Even though Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu contains standup techniques for winning a fight, it is famous for its intense ground fighting techniques.

Jiu-Jitsu was specifically developed to allow a smaller person to defeat a larger person by sophisticated application of leverage and technique. Gaining superior position on your opponent and applying a myriad of chokes, holds, locks and joint manipulations becomes the foundation for this fun martial art.
